Laura Geringer Gross & Dr. Frederic J. Gross invite you to
STUDENTS OF TZAMERET, ISRAEL’S ELITE MILITARY MEDICINE TRAINING PROGRAM
In Conversation with Joshua Rednik, Chief Executive Officer, American Friends of the Hebrew University
Sunday, November 24, 2024
9:30 – 11 AM
Virginia Beach, VA
(Address provided upon RSVP)

In the months following October 7th, the Hebrew University found itself with over 35% of its 28,000-member campus community sent to the reserves, housing thousands of displaced people and providing emergency services to students, faculty, their families, and more. At the frontlines are the brave Hebrew University students who have been selected for Tzameret, Israel’s Elite Military Medical program, who provide an essential medical backbone for the IDF. At this light breakfast, join us for a conversation led by Josh Rednik, AFHU’s CEO, and hear from these students on how they have contributed over the course of the Israel-Hamas War.

For additional information, any questions, or to RSVP, please contact Gabby Sherb, Executive Director, Mid-Atlantic Region, at [email protected] or 202.803.8202.
Please RSVP Monday, November 18, 2024.

In 2025, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem will celebrate its centennial: “Celebrating Our Heritage, Building Our Future.” The Centennial will recognize the Hebrew University’s 100-year commitment to excellence, Zionism and patriotism, multidisciplinary integration, societal impact, innovation, and entrepreneurship, as well as diversity and inclusion.
