THE YISSUM PROCESS

Yissum is the technology transfer company of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Founded in 1964, it is the third company of its kind ever created, and has a rich tradition of innovation and commercialization. From HU scientific breakthroughs, Yissum advances commercial solutions to the most pressing global challenges facing humanity.

Some of the best known spin-off companies include Mobileye, Orcam, Collplant, Qlight, and Briefcam.

Since its founding in 1918 and opening in 1925, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s mission has been to develop cutting-edge research, to educate leaders, and to nurture future generations of outstanding scientists and scholars in all fields of learning.
