Amy Zitelman Hersch

Amy Zitelman Hersch is the CEO and co-founder of Soom Foods, the leading purveyor of tahini and tahini products in the American market. Amy received her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Delaware. After graduating, she soaked up Israeli culture and taught English in Israel. Returning to the States, she began working with her sisters to bring premium tahini to the American market.

Amy currently sits on the board of CCAP Philly, the Kaiserman JCC, and is an advisor to the Jewish Business Network. She has been practicing yoga for 15 years and enjoys cooking, hiking, and exploring local museums with her three children.

Regarding her hopes for the LEAD program, Amy looks forward to meeting with “peers to network with, seek out advice from, and expand my connections to proud Zionists.”
