Thank you for considering AFHU for your year-end gift. Thanks to your support, Hebrew University’s community of over 28,000 has received critical assistance in numerous ways. Reservists defending Israel can rely on the University for flexibility and financial aid. Those in need of psychological support find it readily accessible and affordable. Students facing physical, medical, or emotional challenges, often intensified by the war, know they can turn to HU for help. Your generosity has been—and continues to be—truly invaluable.

This year, thanks to a generous donation made in memory of Charles H. “Corky Goodman (z”l), your gift will have twice the impact. All gifts made through December 31 will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $100,000. An ardent supporter of Israel and Jewish causes, Corky’s decades-long devotion to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem lives on through his patronage.  He served as Chairman of HU’s Board of Governors and as a Vice President and Honorary Board Member with AFHU. His generosity made possible the construction of the state-of-the-art Suzanne and Charles Goodman Brain Sciences Building on HU’s Edmond J. Safra campus in Givat Ram.

We are grateful for the $100,000 matching grant made in honor of his legacy, and we are equally grateful for your contribution to AFHU.

Thank you for your support.
