The cost per person for double occupancy is $8,000, and the cost for single occupancy is $9,000. A non-refundable deposit of $2,500 per person will be required to secure your spot at the time of registration. The final balance is due on or before March 19, 2025.

Hotel reservations in Berlin will be available from June 8 through June 12 and are included in the Mission price. If you plan to arrive a few days earlier, we can assist with your hotel reservations. If you require assistance to complete the registration process, please contact Lissette Alfaro at 202.803.8201. Please note that round-trip travel to Berlin is not included in the Mission price. If you are planning to continue to Israel on June 12 to participate in the Board of Governors and Hebrew University Centennial celebrations, we will reserve space on an EL AL flight for the Berlin-Tel Aviv portion and will bill you separately.

Professor Menahem Ben-Sasson, Chancellor and past President of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, served as Chairman of the Knesset’s Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, and headed the Knesset lobby for Higher Education. From 2012-2015, Professor Ben-Sasson represented the Hebrew University as Chairman of the Council of University Presidents in Israel. Professor Ben-Sasson is a scholar in the Department of the History of the Jewish People in the Faculty of Humanities.  He is an expert on Maimonides, the rise of local Jewish communities in Muslim lands, the relationship between religion and economics, and law and spirituality as sources of authority in Medieval Oriental society. Professor Ben-Sasson is past editor and editorial board member of a range of publications and has published over forty books and articles. Professor Ben-Sasson’s honors include an honorary doctoral degree from the Jewish Theological Seminary, the Yitzhak Ben-Zvi Prize for Jewish History, and the Feher Prize for the Study of Jewish Heritage. Professor Ben-Sasson has been a visiting lecturer at leading institutions in the United States and Europe, including Brandeis University, Yeshiva University, the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Cambridge, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the Einstein Center Chronoi at Freie University of Berlin.
