Professor Eli Pikarsky is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a position that underscores his dedication to advancing medical education, research, and clinical practice. With a robust background as a trained surgical pathologist and a molecular biologist, Prof. Pikarsky has been at the forefront of integrating clinical work with groundbreaking research in cancer biology. In his distinguished career, Prof. Pikarsky has led a dynamic research team focused on elucidating tissue interactions pivotal in the progression of liver cancer. His approach is notably comprehensive, employing cutting-edge techniques such as advanced tissue imaging and sophisticated molecular biology analyses. As Dean, Prof. Pikarsky aims to lead the Faculty of Medicine to new heights with a focus on fostering innovation and excellence.
